Visit the world from wherever you are.

Visioglobe is a fast growing company that provides the first 3D interactive real time city navigation.

Thanks to this innovative technology, it is now possible to visit the world's biggest capitals directly from your mobile phone.

Philippe Poutignat, Founder and Chairman, and Eric Bernard, CEO and Co-Founder, are the pioneers that develop this ambitious project.

TheBeginner.eu asked Mr Bernard about the project Visioglobe:


TheBeginner.eu (B): How did the idea to create a company that offers 3D visualization come to your mind?

Eric Bernard (E.B.): From Philippe Poutignat, the co-founder who has worked 16 years at Thales Training and simulation, and was working on Flight simulation (Civil and Military Aircraft).

B: How come that only two years after the company has been founded you managed to win the national competition of French R&D twice?

E.B.: To win twice it's a different category, the first one is called "emergence" and concerns she very beginning of each project.The second ine is called "creation developement" and it concerns the company that is very near to be launched and far more advanced than the previous. And to receive some subvention for the second it's mandatory to be created.The recipe is subvention that allow to finish or increase the R&D part.

B.: What are your future projects?

E.B.: As we just closed a fund raising of 1,2M€, the next step is to sign an international contract and develop our company in Europe, US and Asia. We are addressing the market in B to B, Automotive, Mobile phone industry, and the WEB.

B.: When will your new 3D solution for the Automobile sector become available to clients?

E.B.: We already have a prototype available, and very few developments are now necessary for having the final product.

B.: Which markets will you aim to develop in the future and what are your expectations regarding the growth of your business?

E.B.: Mobile Phone is a very important market, and actually we have a lot of knowledge and strong features on this segment, so we will keep focusing  on it.
